One of the most commonly asked questions I get from clients is "Why isn't my site listed in Google/Bing/Yahoo etc".
Unfortunately there is no simple answer to this question. Many times, the website is question is listed in these search engines but is not appearing in the first page of results (or even the 10th page). At other times, their site is not actually listed at all as the search engines have not indexed the site yet. By default the search engines will normally find your website in the course of time. This usually happens within a month of you launching your site, assuming it has been set up correctly in the first place.
